The European Council of Shopping Places (ECSP), the association for Europe’s retail property sector, has published a research report covering the main terms in leasing contracts used in shopping centers across 36 European countries.
Koutalidis Law Firm’s Senior Associates Dora Karagiorgou and Stelios Giamanis along with Associate Ilias Betzios wrote the chapter that discusses the Greek market. The report took into account both legal requirements and standard market practices and enables retail professionals, policymakers and governmental authorities to compare and contrast approaches within different European markets.
The research comes shortly before MAPIC, where ECSP’s Legal Working Group will host an exclusive networking event bringing together legal experts and decision-makers from the retail and property sectors. The focus of the session will be green leases, flexible agreements and new models.
