Koutalidis Law Firm acted as legal advisor to sponsors Aktor Concessions SA and Intrakat_Official on the PPP project financing for the construction, operation and maintenance of the West Peloponnese, Kalamata-Rizomylos-Pylos- Methoni road. The project shall be funded by way of a common secured bond loan of up to €216 million, subscribed for by Alpha Bank, National Bank of Greece and Eurobank. Signing of the finance documents occurred in April 2023 and financial closing was achieved in July 2023.
The deal was complex because of the several voluminous and multiparty PPP project agreements and finance documents that were put in place within a tight timeline with, among others, the Awarding Authority.
