Koutalidis Law Firm advised Alpha Services and Holdings S.A., the listed on ΑΤΗΕΧ parent entity of Alpha Bank SA, on its successful share capital increase of €800 million through a combined offering of shares by means of a private placement to institutional investors outside Greece and a public offering to retail and qualified investors in Greece (Project Tomorrow).
Project Tomorrow was completed on 8 July 2021 and the new shares were admitted to trading on the Main Market of ATHEX on 13 July 2021.
Being the first growth-share capital increase in the Greek banking sector after almost 12 years, Project Tomorrow represents a landmark transaction that strengthens the capital ratios of #Alpha Bank and allows the Bank to grow dynamically taking advantage of the attractive opportunities in the Greek market.
